Please make sure that wherever your video is being done that it is safe, and on a safe computer if using a webcam like a library or trusted friends house. Do not do this on the same computer on which your abuser has access. You can also do this on your phone, just erase it as soon as you have uploaded the file. Collection of DNA Samples

In the event that something should happen to you, DNA evidence can be crucial. If you don't have a good picture of your abuser, you should have something with his DNA in a secure place. Collect hair samples from a comb or brush that he has used, a razor, old dental floss, a hat or ball cap, cigarette butts or anything which bodily fluids may have come in contact. Place any or all of these samples into a sealed, plastic bag and label with the name and date.

You should also do the same with samples of your own DNA. In the event that you may go missing this sample could mean law enforcement agencies can move much more swiftly.
